The Parish of Dunkeld (Church of Scotland) is looking to appoint an organist.

Regular Sunday Worship is at 11am. (there is a small group of singers who contribute to the service. It is our desire to see this develop.)

There are other occasional Sunday services through the year which the organist would be expected to play at (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Holy Week etc.)

The Cathedral hasa fine two manual Bevington Organ, expertly reconditioned by Sandy Edmonstone.

Little Dunkeld has a small two-manual pipe organ which was out of commission for a number of years and was restored to working order about 15 years ago.

Music has a long-established part in the life of the congregation and wider community in Dunkeld. It could be an important aspect of outreach into the community too. The community of Dunkeld also has a very strong folk tradition which has grown in recent years.

We are looking for someone:

Suitably qualified and/or experienced.

Enthusiastic about the musical side of worship.

Open to all types of music.

Who is a ‘team player’ with good people skills.
